February 18, 2006 Diane Lee Smith, 33, of 130 North Canal St., Canastota, died Saturday at University Hospital in Syracuse. Diane was born November 1, 1972, in Rome, NY. She resided many years in the Geneva area and was a resident of the Canastota area the past 15 years. She was predeceased by her mother, Judy Ann Wallace, in 2002. Surviving are her daughter, Meghan Anne Smith at home; her father and stepmother, John and Judith Williamson Wallace of Canastota; her maternal granparents, Curt and Alice Howell, and her maternal great-grandmother, Marjorie Newell, all of Clifton Springs; three sisters: Kathy Lynch and Debbie Mowers, both of Canastota, and Carol Storms of Texas; two brothers, Gary Eggleton of Shortsville and Greg Eggleton of Florida; and several half siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services wil be 11 a.m. Tuesday at G.F. Zimmer Funeral Home, Chittenango. Spirng burial will be in Pioneer Cemetery, Manchester. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 702 Legion Drive.
