VERSAILLES - Diane Kirtley Harris, 51, died Mon., April 26, 2004 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center of an apparent heart attack. Diane, a Woodford County native, was a 1970 graduate of Woodford County High School and graduated from the Kentucky College of Business. She had worked at Rand McNally and Co. for over 20 years in the human resources department prior to taking positions with the Commonwealth of Kentucky. She had worked in the Department of Local Government, the Governors' Office, and most recently in the Department of Transportation. She is survived by two children, LaMichelle Haddix of Versailles, Randy (Maurette) Harris of Frankfort; her parents, Richard and Mildred Kirtley of Versailles; her sisters, Darlene Jackson of Versailles, Danita Kirtley of Indiana; her brother, Richard (Rita) Kirtley III of Versailles; her granddaughter, Havilland Harris, and two special friends, Judy Sears and John Haddix. Funeral services will be 1 pm Thurs., St. Paul AME Church, Versailles, with Rev. Kenneth Golphin officiating. Interment will follow at the Steele Cemetery.
