Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2013, at Collier-Butler Funeral Home for Diane McCartney Kelly, 67, who passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013. The Rev. Rodney Prickett will officiate. Burial will be at Hopewell Cemetery in Ashville, Ala. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.Mrs. Kelly was born Sept. 17, 1945. She was a lifetime resident of Etowah County and a longtime member of Riddles Bend Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Jonnie Mae Weddington; husband, Barney McCartney; and sisters, Alice Barrett and Betty Swindall.She is survived by her husband, Billy Wayne Kelly; children, Perry (Kathy) McCartney, Carolyn (Kenneth) Garrison, Tony McCartney and Shane (Lisa) McCartney; grandchildren, Matthew McCartney, Andy McCartney, Melissa Duncan, Tabitha Duncan, Michael Duncan, Chris McCain, Jordan McCartney and Josh Allen; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Rachael, Josh, Aaerial, Samantha, Garrette, Whitne, Amber, Isaac, Esme, Laney, Jalyn and Coley; brothers, Woodrow Weddington, Jr. and David Weddington; and sisters, Dorothy Hare and Brenda Blayock.Pallbearers will be grandsons.Visitation will be from 6 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.Online condolences may be made at www.collier-butler.com.
