SCHAGHTICOKE Diane E Harris, 63, of East Street, Schaghticoke, formerly of Watervliet, died Monday, May 30, 2005 at her residence surrounded by her family, following a short illness. She was born on March 19, 1942, daughter of the late Otto and Rubye (Stoneberger) Ziegler. Diane was an avid lover of NASCAR and a devout fan of Jimmy Johnson. She loved animals and music - especially Simon and Garfunkel and The Beatles. Survivors include one daughter, Pamala (William) Gilligan of Schaghticoke; one brother, Norman Young of Prescott, Ariz.; one sister, Caroline Wakeman of Rowayton, Conn.; three grandchildren, Brianna Harris, Gabby and Aiden Gilligan, all of Schaghticoke; several nieces and nephews. Diane is also survived by her canine friend, Roberta. A funeral service will be held at the Chase Funeral Home on Friday, June 3 at 12:00.
