SMITH Dessie Mae Smith, 89, died, Wednesday, July 30, 2003. Mrs. Smith was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville a member of Dinsmore Baptist Church. Survivors include one sister, Gussie Leonard; one grandson, Sean (Kelli) Griffith; one great- granddaughter, Kaitlyn Griffith and one daughter, Lillie Carter. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 2, at the chapel of COREY- KERLIN FUNERAL HOME, 1426 Rowe Avenue, with Rev. Jerry Gesell officiating.
