SHIELDS--Dennis, Ph.D. The faculty, staff, post-doctoral fellows and students of the Department of Developmental and Molecular Biology of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University express our grief at the premature departure of our dearly loved colleague, Dr. Dennis Shields, an outstanding researcher and mentor in our Department since 1982. Dr. Shields was an internationally renowned cell biologist, but we remember most his enthusiasm, wit, deep humanity, and devotion to his colleagues and trainees. We express our deepest condolences to the Shields family.
