SUTTON, DENNIS BYRON, 60 Lake Butler - Mr. Dennis Byron Sutton, 60, of Lake Butler passed away peacefully Saturday morning at the North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville after an extended illness. He was born In Kansas City, MO, traveling in different places, until he moved to Lake Butler in 1986, where he has resided since. He was the son of the late Reginald W. Sutton and Jane Phillips Sutton. He served in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He retired from the Lawtey Department of Correction as Sgt. after 25 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 19 years ; Shirley Winningham Sutton of Lake Butler; one step-daughter, Lynn Keach of Ocala; one Step-son, Greg Glover (Tracy) of Keystone Heights; one Sister, Debra Jane Larson of Lake City; 3 Grandchildren and 5 Great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Archer Funeral Home in Lake Butler, with Bro. Scott Fisher officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home at 10:00 AM Wednesday morning, before the services.
