Born and raised in Queens, NY, Denise lived in Upper Saddle River since 1977. Devoted wife of over 42 years to Frank N. Hughes of Upper Saddle River. Beloved mother of Kelly A. Hughes of New York City, Timothy R. Hughes of Upper Saddle River, and Brian C. Hughes and his wife Stacy of Ridgewood, NJ. Cherished grandmother of Henry, Samuel and Theodore Hughes of Ridgewood. Loyal sister of Jean M. Higgins and her husband Jerry of Oceanport, NJ. The family will receive friends and visitors for visiting hours on Thursday, February 4th from 1-3 and 6-8 PM at C.C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, 306 E. Ridgewood Ave., Ridgewood.
