FLANAGAN, Denis 78, of Dade City, passed away Oct 10, 2011, at HPH Hospice. Preceded in death by his wife, Elena. Survivors are children, Jose Vazquez and Myriam Parham; grandchildren, Penelope, Adam, Kari and Amber; and nephew, David in England; along with other family. Always close to the sea, he served in the British Merchant Marines and the Royal Navy. He worked as a ship's chandler for various shipping companies and owned Marine 1 Transportation, Independent Marine Services and Beach Express. He also provided services to Holland America Lines for over 20 years. Private services will be held at sea.
