She was born September 6, 1936 in Telogia, FL to the late John T. and Claudia W. Arnold. After graduating high school in 1955, she moved to Tallahassee. She was a homemaker, loved to crochet, fish and enjoyed cooking for her family. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Charles A. Smith; son, Eric Smith (Yolonda) of Tallahassee; daughter, Sharon Ferrell (Ray) of Tallahassee; sister, Martha Engram; and grandchildren, Charles Michael Smith and Alexandra Jade Ferrell.In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brothers, Tom B. and Earnard Joel Arnold, and a sister, Lettie Langdale.A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Old Drivers Cemetery which is now Grace United Methodist Church Cemetery in Hosford, FL.
