Delfern Elizabeth Dunbar Williams, 87, of Bloomfield, N.J., a retired East Orange Veterans Affairs nurse, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2014. A viewing will be held at Martin's Home for Service, 48 Elm St., Montclair, N.J., from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 9. Funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 10, at New Light Baptist Church, 91 Dewey St., Bloomfield, with interment immediately following. Mrs. Williams was a member of Chi Eta Phi Nursing Sorority, Lambda Kappa Mu, National Council of Negro Women, and the American Legion Post 251. She was predeceased by her husband, Solomon Williams, and daughter, Michele Kline. She is survived by her son, Martin Williams (LaNella), of Hillsborough, N.J.; grandson, Glenn Kline III, of Newark, N.J.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
