Debra Grovenstein Lee, 54, of Sylvania, passed November 15, 2009, at her residence under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. She was a lifelong native of Screven County, a member of Newington Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Survivors include: husband, Louis J. Lee; two sons and daughters-in-law, James W. and Angela Lee and Michael and Allison Sturdivant; a daughter, Brandy Michelle Lee; mother and father, Roy and Alice Waters Grovenstein; brothers, Michael Grovenstein and Kerry Grovenstein; and three grandchildren, Alyssa Lee, Attison Lee and Brody Sturdivant, all of Sylvania. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 17, 2009, at 2 p.m. in the Screven Chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home with Pastor Patricia McDonald officiating. Interment will follow in the Newington City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Louis J. Lee, James W. Lee, Michael Sturdivant, Michael Grovenstein, Kerry Grovenstein and Chris Grovenstein.
