BOTH _ Debra Frances October 21, 1955 - March 6, 2006 It is with extreme sorrow that we announce the passing of Debra after a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Her loving family was by her side as she slipped into the arms of the Lord. Debra is survived by her loving husband Raymond, her four children, Jonathon, Jade, Rhea and Ryan Jones of Winnipeg, MB, and sisters, Linda Bonneteau and Theresa Gudz of Winnipeg and East Selkirk, MB respectively. Debra was predeceased by her parents, Stephen Marino and Lillian Sesnella and her brother Steve Marino. Debra was born and raised in Winnipeg and after graduation from Sisler High School she commenced working at Great West Life. Debra, Ray and their children moved to Langley, BC in the fall of 1990. She continued to further her career with Great West Life and advanced to Operations Manager - Fraser Valley Resource Centre. It was to Debra's strong work ethic, team work and leadership that enabled the FVRC to achieve Award of Distinction for 2005 above all offices across Canada in their division. Debra was employed by GWL for 30 years. Debra had a love of life. She was incredibly creative and loved to work around her home. She loved her family to which she placed on the highest pedestal. She was truly a giver, not a receiver. She had many friends which she kept close to her heart. Debra will truly be missed by all that knew her. During her illness, Debra was very appreciative of everyone's thoughts, gifts and prayers. We would particularly like to thank her physicians Dr. Sheila Bowling and Dr. Maureen Adamson. The Langley Home Nursing Staff made Debra's time at home most comfortable. A special thanks to Dr. Kevin Jasas and the staff at the BC Cancer Agency - Fraser Valley. Heartfelt thanks goes to Drs. MacDonald and Dublin at the Burnaby Palliative Care Unit. No words can be said in appreciation of the staff at 2D - Palliative Care Unit. They are truly Angels from God for the love and care they gave to Debra. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church commencing at 11:00 AM, Pastor Brad Senfton officiating. Reception will follow. In remembrance of Debra it is requested that those in attendance wear or accessorize in pink, Debra's favorite color. It was Debra's desire for donations to be made to the Palliative Care Unit 2D, Burnaby Hospital.
