Obituary of Deborah-L. Lee

ROCHESTER ; Deborah L. (White) Lee, 43, died suddenly March 22, 2008. Debbie was born May 14, 1964, in Beverly, Mass. She moved to New Hampshire from Poughkeepsie, N.Y., when she was 13, and made her home in the Rochester area most of her life. Debbie attended Spaulding High School. In 2006, she was proud to receive her associates degree from McIntosh College, another step in her dream of a college education. She worked in accounting and finance, but will be remembered best as "Dora," everyone's favorite bartender at Player's Circle in Somersworth.Quick-witted and quirky, Debbie was an avid reader, an outdoorswoman who enjoyed fishing with her husband, and a great friend to many.In addition to her parents, Paul M. White of Hopewell Junction, N.Y., and Patricia L. (O'Leary) Nichols of Eliot, Maine, she is survived by her husband, Mark A. Lee of Rochester, her daughter and son-in-law, Ryan Watson Fraser and Andrew Fraser of Dover, her sisters, Jennifer Penney and Susan White Simmons, both of Eliot, Maine, and her stepbrother, Greg Nichols of Belmont, N.H.She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Joyce Linscott of Baton Rouge, La., sister-in-law, Lisa (Ed) Tully of Greenville, N.H., and brothers-in-law, Chris Lee and Charlie Linscott of Baton Rouge, La. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews: Tyler, Jordan and Aaron Penney, Brandon Nichols, Griffin and Andy Simmons, Devon and Shelby Tully; her grandparents, Melvin and Audrey White of Newport Center, Vt, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless dear friends who she considered family.Debbie was predeceased in 2007 by her beloved stepfather, A. Latham Nichols.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Debbie's name to Victims, Inc., PO Box 455, Rochester, NH 03866-0455.Calling hours will be held Thursday, March 28, 2008, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the R.
