Deborah Elaine Kelly, 44, of Lake City, Florida passed away peacefully Thursday, July 4, 2013. She was born August 30, 1969 in Quincy, Florida to Charlie and Alice Mae Northington. Both precede her in death. Deborah was an incredibly intelligent woman who enjoyed caring for people. She received her education at Suwannee High School in Live Oak, FL graduating with the class of 1987. Deborah continued her education at Florida A&M University graduating as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She has worked for CMS Professional Staffing since 2005. In her spare time she enjoyed advocating in the community to bridge the gap for our youth. In doing so, she founded Parents for Community Awareness in 2012, working diligently until her health failed. She was an active member of African Baptist Church in Live Oak, Florida under the leadership of Rev. Alex Fountain. Deborah was the very proud wife of John Kelly, Sr., whom she leaves to cherish her memories. Lauderdale, FL, Christina Northington, Gainesville, FL., Bessie Samuels (Clinton), Castleberry, AL; aunts, Mattie White (Isaiah), Orlando, FL, Lydia Williams, Catherine Hayes (Earl), Patricia Brown, all of Tallahassee, FL, uncle, Thomas Brown, Grand Rapids, MI; special sisters-in-law, Warrenette and Sylvia Kelly; special friends, Pastor Betty Rainey, Lafrae Harris, LaShaun Sanders, LaKasia Jones, Arlene Dix, Tracy Biro; hosts of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
