Debbie June Williams" 54" wife of Jackie Williams" died Wednesday" February 21" 2007" at The Med in Memphis" TN. Funeral service will be Saturday" February 24" 2007" at 11:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with Rev. Teep Wicker and Rev. James Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. Debbie June Williams was born in Madison County" educated in the city schools" and attended West Tennessee Business College. She was the daughter of the late Alvin Ray Jordan and A. Virginia Ayers. She worked for the Doctors's Answering Service for 25 years and later worked for the Semmes Murphy Clinic. She was Baptist in belief. Survivors include her husband" Jackie Williams of Jackson; one son" Jerry Jordan of Jackson; three step-daughters" Jacqueline Williams of Jackson" Jennifer Korn of Jackson" and Julie Jines of Jackson; two sisters" Gina Dorris of Jackson and Glenda Holquin of Henderson" TN; two brothers" Billy Jordan and Gary Jordan" both of Jackson" TN; and a number of nieces and nephews . She was preceded in death by a sister" Peggy Jordan; and two brothers" Bobby Jordan and Mike Jordan. Active pallbearers are requested to meet at the funeral home at 10:30 A.M. They are Art Korn" Greg Jackson" Ray Emerson" Mike Birmingham" Jerry Peery and Jackie Young. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Hale" Terry Holder" Tony McCoy and Bill Ayers.
