JONES Deaconess Betty Ann (Simmons), age 76, was born in Saluda, SC. She resided in Passaic, NJ since 1950. Mrs. Jones departed this life on Wednesday, August 3, 2011. She was employed as a Teacher's Aide for The Passaic Board of Education for many years. She was a member of The Mt. Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, Passaic, NJ; there she served on the Deaconess Board, the Pastor's Aide and participated in the Food Service Program at the church. She was predeceased by her parents King Simmons, Carrie (Sims) and James Etheredge. She is survived by her husband Deacon Henry Jones, son: Marc B. Jones, daughters: Darleen V. Gillyard and Carmelita C. Allen, grandchildren: Cory James Gillyard and Tynika R. Brown, goddaughter: Tamara Brown-Crockett, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends and neighbors. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her life on Sunday, August 7, 2011, 6 PM at The Mt. Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church 163 Autumn St., Passaic, NJ. Interment: East Ridgelawn Cemetery.
