AUGUSTA, Ga. - Deacon David Williams of Wrightsboro Rd., entered into rest Saturday, May 23, 2009, at The Place at Deans Bridge. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 30, 2009, at 12 noon at United House of Prayer. Apostle C. McClain will officiate. Burial will take place at United House of Prayer Cemetery. Remains will lie in state at the church from 11 a.m. until the hour of service. Family and friends will assemble at the church at 11:45 a.m. Viewing will be from 12 noon to 6 p.m., Friday, May 29, 2009. He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving wife, St. Mary Williams, Augusta, Ga.; step-mother, Mrs. Martha Jefferson, Savannah, Ga.; two sisters, Mrs. Mauge Jefferson, New York & Mrs. Erlene Jefferson, Orangeburg, S.C.; five sons, Mr. Carl E. (Cheryl) Williams, Mr. Efrem Williams, Mr. Ozzie Williams, Mr. Jerry Cullars, all of Augusta, Ga., Bishop James (Margie) Oliphant of Aiken, S.C.; five daughters, Ms. Carolyn Littles, Philadelphia, Pa., Ms. Cynthia Beal, Ms. Alexia Cullards, and Mrs. Caroline (Min. Edward) Blount, all of Augusta, Ga., Ms. Grace Cullum of Aiken, S.C.; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; devoted neighbors; and other relatives and friends.
