Funeral for David Wayne Alexander, 36, previously of East Lawrence, will be Monday, April 18, 2005, at 11 a.m., at Parkway Funeral Home with Bro. Marcus Lipscomb officiating.Burial will be in Corinth Missionary Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mr. Alexander died Wednesday, April 13, 2005. He was born Dec. 21, 1968, in Decatur, to Chester Wayne Alexander and Martha Thomas Alexander. He was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver. He was preceded in death by his father, and his grandparents, Farris and Minnie Lee Thomas, and Guy and Lou Ellen Alexander. Survivors include his wife, Catrina Shepard Alexander; two sons, Tyler David Alexander and William Lucas Alexander; two daughters, Melanie Sydney Alexander and Hillary Hayden Chestal Alexander; his mother; stepson, Ryan Lamb; stepdaughter, Shannon Lee and husband Jeff; sister, DeShana Tyrka and husband Steve; and nephews, Brandon and Blake Tyrka. Pallbearers will be Chris Alexander, Dean Alexander, Jarrison Nelson, Heath White, Ashley Alexander and Ernie Slayton III.
