A member of St. Catherine AME Zion Church where in later years he was active as a Trustee and member and knowledge bank for the church historical committee. He graduated the New Rochelle schools and vocational school. Serving four years honorably in the U.S. Army during WW 2. Employed at the former Airequipt Manufacturing Co. and then for 22 years at H. Muehlstein & Co. and Interstate Lumber. Formerly active with Westchester Co. Basketball Officials Ass'n. Board 52. the Westchester Baseball Empire's Ass'n., the NYS Baseball Empires Ass'n.; the New Rochelle Parks and Recreation Dept.; inducted in the New Rochelle Sports Hall of Fame 2008. Past Commander VFW Post 2882, Maceo Bacon & Charles W. Dickerson Drum Corp. Alumni; the Huguenot & New Rochelle Historical Ass'n. and Prince Hall Masons Xenia Lodge No.50. Predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Rosina Bracey. To this union one daughter was born, Lenorelle F. Lee affectionately known as Cookie.Also surviving are cousins, great nieces and nephews, great great nephews, god children and others. Family to receive friends Wednesday, February 25, 2015 10am to 11am St. Catherine AME Zion Church 19 Lincoln Avenue, New Rochelle. Funeral 11am at the church. Interment Beechwoods Cemetery.
