David Shanks, 49, died Aug. 11, 2010, at Martin Memorial Medical Center, Stuart. He was born in Jacksonville and was a lifelong resident of Florida. Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Virginia Shanks of Indiantown; daughters, Tangela Kelly and Tereska Kelly, both of Indiantown; father, Earl Shanks Sr. of Indiantown; sisters, Roslyn Eady, Yvonne Chandler and Mary Taylor, all of Indiantown; and brothers, Robert Shanks, Earl Shanks, Lloyd Shanks and Sylvester Riggins, all of Indiantown. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ellen Shanks; and brothers, Marvin and Sylvester Shanks. SERVICES: No services are scheduled.
