COOLEYDavid S., 78 years old, of Boston, on March 21, 2007, due to complications of cancer. Mr. Cooley proudly served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War. A Li brarian in the Detroit and Philadelphia li braries, he earned a masters degree in history from Boston University and a mas ters degree from Simmons College in Li brary and Information Science. He was a graduate of Hingham High School, Class of 1946. Mr. Cooley is survived by brother Dr. Mark H. Cooley of Boston, John B. Cooley and sister-in-law Patricia T. Cooley of Scituate and nieces Mrs. Lisa Carpenter of Leesburg, VA and Mrs. Debra Haislip of Waterford, VA. Predeceased by his parents Mr. & Mrs. Harold P. Cooley, formerly of Kingston.
