Adams, David P. passed away Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007, at Woodside Hospice, Pinellas Park, FL, following a long battle with cancer. He was born in Birmingham, AL, but came to Jacksonville at a young age where he became a lifelong resident. He was retired from CSX railroad after more than 36 years and had moved to St. Petersburg, FL. He graduated from UNF with a degree in allied health in 1987. He served his country in World War II with the United States Coast Guard. He was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church in Indian Rocks Beach, FL.
