David Nolan of Lyndhurst, formerly of East Orange, died on Monday, April 12, 2010, at Hackensack Inpatient Hospice. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the O'Boyle Funeral Home, 309 Broad St., Bloomfield, on Friday at 9 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be offered at Holy Name of Jesus Church in East Orange at 10 a.m. Interment is at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation is on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Born in Orange, David lived in East Orange before moving to Lyndhurst 20 years ago. He was a machinist for E.J. Brooks in Livingston for the past 32 years. David was the husband of the late Maria Gray Nolan; father of Jamie Lynn Nolan of Hackensack; son of Anne Richter Nolan of West Orange and the late Nicholas A. Nolan Jr. He was the brother of Nicholas A. III of Linden, Patricia Brodo of Belleville, Anne Clark of Springfield and the late Thomas C. Nolan. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
