ADAMS, David Lloyd October 29, 1917 - September 29, 2007 David Lloyd Adams of Didsbury, Alberta passed away at Unit 4 of the Didsbury Hospital on September 29, 2007 at the age of 89. Dave was born in Bengough, Saskatchewan, and grew up on a farm near there, attending Lambton Public School and later working in the local farming and ranching community until enlisting in the Saskatchewan Rifles Regiment early in World War II. Dave was a decorated veteran of World War II and retired in 1979 from Canada Post after a lengthy career in both Edmonton and Calgary. Dave dedicated his life to his wife Evelyn, his children and a large extended family. Dave is predeceased by his beloved wife of fifty-seven years, Evelyn; his sons Douglas, Patrick and Bradford; as well as his brothers Morley, Clarence, Fred, Harold; and sister Florence. Dave leaves to mourn, his children Charles (Janet), Steven (Sandra), Kathleen, Mary (Bill), Wade (Keri), Randall (Carmen). Grandpa Dave will be missed but lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, his sister Dorothy and many nieces and nephews. A Service honoring Dave's life will be held at a later date.
