David Lawrence Lee, 82, of Norman passed away at 10:20 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2012, inSeymour.He was a member and assistant pastor at Lilly of the Valley Christ Church.David was born in Shelbyville on March 9, 1930, the son of the late Clarence and Ruth (Zeigler) Lee.He enjoyed being outdoors as he liked to fish, rabbit hunt and farm. He retired from Reliance Electric after 25 years of service. He served his country by enlisting in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.On April 8, 1986, he married Rayetta Golden.He is survived by his wife; three children, Linda Duckworth, Etta Lee Miller and Roberta Hunter; five grandchildren, Heather Adams, Valerie Calvert, Michaela Hunter, D'Artangan Calvert and Jestik Miller; three great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Cockerham, Ayden York and Blayklee Adams; a sister, Carolyn Imlay; brothers, William (Bill) Lee and Gerald (Jerry) Lee; and several nieces and nephews.David was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Edward Stringfield; sisters, Louise McComas and Mary Knose; brothers, George, Lloyd, Roy, Wilford (Bud), Donald, Kenneth and Robert Lee.Arrangements are being conducted by Voss Funeral Service in Seymour.
