Obituary(David) Larry Johnson died unexpectedly on Friday, November 28, 2008. Larry was born March 31, 1938 in Wakefield, MA. He attended Tufts University, and he was an officer in military intelligence in the US Army. He is survived by his wife, Faye Belden Patch Johnson, daughter, Cheryl Johnson, sons, Devon and Glenn Johnson. He is also survived by three brothers, Keith of Orlando, FL, Steve of Oberland, KS and Ross of Rochester, NY. He met his wife, Faye, of 31 years, in Winter Park, FL in 1977. They moved to Fort Myers Beach in 1982 and lived part-time in Breckenridge, Colorado, where Larry was a builder/developer.Larry was a member of The Forest Golf and County Club, an active member of the VFW Post 10097 and a member in long standing of the Canterbury School community.A celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, December 20, at 11:00 a.m. at the Forest Golf and Country Club. Interment will be the following day, December 21 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Winter Park, Florida.In lieu of flowers, an endowment fund has been set up in Larry's name at Canterbury School.
