Untitled DAVID LAMAR WALKER 1937 - 2009 David Lamar Walker, age 72, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away Friday, November 27, 2009. Mr. Walker was born August 28, 1937 in Butler County, Alabama. Prior to living in Knoxville, he was a lifelong resident of Cantonment. He was a member of North Lonsdale Church of God. He was preceded in death by his father, William Robert Walker; mother, Lucille Fowler Walker; sister, Katherine Smith; two children, Lynn and Michael Walker; and two grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Ella Mae Walker; two daughters, Lana Sellers (Bryon) and Tammy Walker; three sonss Bill Walker (Leslie), Billy Walker and Dennis Walker; 12 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, three sisters, Mary Ashley, Margaret Wheeler, Ann Walker; three brothers, Byron Walker, Lamar Walker and Charlie Walker; numerous nieces, nephews, and his step-mother, Marie Smith. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North-Cantonment with Rev. Frank Sellers and Rev. Mike Perkins officiating. Interment will follow at Morgan Cemetery in Molino, Florida. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
