Obituary of David-F. Lee


LEE, David F. 70, of Clearwater, passed away Aug. 23, 2008 after a short illness at Morton Plant, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Salem, NJ on April 16, 1938. He was the second of three sons born to the late Bertram Glen Lee and Mary Thelma (Murphy) Lee of Pennsgrove, NJ. He left behind his deep mourning wife Eileen. He is also survived by 7 stepchildren, Shawn, Russell, Michael, Mark, James, Robert & Scott; a brother, Bertrum Glen Lee II & his wife Kay of Pennsville, NJ; & many nieces & nephews. He was an Air Force veteran and was employed for many years by & retired from Dupont Company in Deepwater, NJ. He was involved in many activities including singing, playing piano & guitar & snow skiing. He was a member of the National Ski Patrol in VT & PA; He also was an instructor for the American Red Cross. He was a Mason & Past Master of the Excelsior Lodge No. 54F F&AM of Pennsgrove, NJ and a member of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon. He moved to Florida in 1994 & resided in the Clearwater, Homosassa Springs & Crystal River. He was a member of The American Legion Post 155 in Crystal River. In recent years, he enjoyed motorcycling and belonged to many clubs connected to his V-Rod Harley. He was a member of HOG & the Retreads of Homosassa Springs. A quiet, celebration of life memorial will be attended by his family at a later date. Acknowledgements may be made to The Hospice of Florida Suncoast, Clearwater.
