David F. Gray, 64, North Port, died May 15, 2006, in Port Charlotte. He was born April 28, 1942, in Richmond, Ind., and came to North Port from there 11 years ago. He retired as owner of Charlotte Square Barber and Beauty and had been a barber for Andy's Barbershop, both in Port Charlotte. Survivors include sons Doug of Richmond and Jeff of Fort Myers; a daughter, Terri Witham of Centerville, Ind.; a brother, Paul of Milton, Ind.; sisters Marilyn Hopkins of Richmond, Barb Hubbard of Cambridge, Ind., and Martha Perseponko of Richmond; six grandchildren; and his companion, Charlotte Chandler of Port Charlotte. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday at Kays-Ponger Funeral Home, Port Charlotte Chapel. Services will be at Smith-McQuiston Funeral Home, Fountain City, Ind.
