AUGUSTA, Ga. - David E. Curry, age 64, of Augusta, passed away, Thursday morning, January 30, 2003 at University Hospital. A native of Florence, S.C., he had resided in Augusta for the past 36 years, since moving from Florence. He is survived by: 2 brothers, Andrew E. Curry, Hemmingway, SC, James A. Curry, Florence, SC; one sister, Dorothy 'Dot' Kennedy, Martinez; one son, David Edward Curry; one grandson; numerous nieces and nephews, and several great and great great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m., Saturday, February 1, 2003 from the Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Road with Reverend Michael Davenport officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Steven, Peter and John Kennedy, Andrew Curry and Carl Corey.
