Funeral service for David C. Adams, 47, DeLand, who died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2006, at Florida Hospital Waterman, Tavares, will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, at Watts Funeral Home, San Mateo, with visitation at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Etoniah Cemetery in Palatka. A former heavy equipment operator, David was born May 13, 1958, in Crescent City. He is survived by his parents, J.D. and Lucille Pleasant, DeLand; daughter, Sheila Adams, Geneva; brothers, Owen Howard and Rex Howard, both of DeLand, and Joe Pleasant, Interlachen; sisters, Helen McLean, Deltona, Patricia Forkner, DeLand, Peggy Lambert, Douglasville, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
