Loving husband, father, grandfather,son, and brother; 54 LUNENBURG -- David B. Anderson, 54, of Lunenburg, died Tuesday, July 3, 2012 from injuries sustained in a boating accident.David was born in Leominster on October 1, 1957, son of Robert and Shirley (Guay) Anderson. He was a graduate of Leominster High School, where he starred on the hockey team. Previously, David had played little league coached by his father. Showing his skills as an athlete, he went on to play semi professional hockey for the Wallopers, and several men's hockey leagues.David worked for MIT Lincoln Labs in Lexington as an HVAC Technician.He enjoyed biking, traveling, and the beach. He was an avid Boston sports fan, especially the New England Patriots. He was a man of all trades, and enjoyed his Thursday nights with the boys.Most of all, David loved his family; he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.He leaves his wife of 33 years, Joyce (Boucher) Anderson of Lunenburg; his daughters, Angela Anderson of Leominster, Danielle Anderson of Fitchburg; grandson, Nicholas Lamoureux; parents, Robert "Andy" and Shirley (Guay) Anderson of Leominster; brothers, Gary Anderson and his wife, Diane of Philipston, Barry Anderson of Leominster, John Anderson and wife, Donna of Leominster, Scott Anderson of Truro; sister, Robin Franklin and husband, Dallas of Athol; Michael Lamoureux of Leominster; mother-in-law, Marie Boucher of Leominster; brother-in-law, Steve Boucher and his wife Janet of Lunenburg; many nieces and nephews.ANDERSON -- The funeral will be held in St. Cecilia's Church, 180 Mechanic St., Leominster, on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg is directing arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 26 Broadway 14th floor, New York, New York 10004, or to Sr. Pauline Champagne DHS, Appalachian Mission, P.O. Box 288, Hurley, VA 24620, or to the St. Cecilia's Restoration Fund.
