David Arthur Harding, 66, St. Augustine, Fla., died Dec. 16, 2003, at Shands Hospital, Gainesville, Fla. Memorial services will be held Monday, Dec. 22, at 2 p.m. at Craig Funeral Home, 1475 Old Dixie Highway, St. Augustine, FL 32085.Mr. Harding, a native of St. Louis, Mo., retired to St. Augustine in January, 2000, where he enjoyed tennis and golf at Marsh Creek Country Club and served as a member of the board. A graduate of John Burroughs School and Washington University in St. Louis, he served in the United States Air Force during the Berlin Crisis. Mr. Harding worked for several major companies - 7 Up, Monsanto, Mobil Chemical Company. At the time of his retirement he was senior vice president for National Accounts, Bunzl Distribution USA.He will be greatly missed by his wife Lynn, his children Kathleen (Carlos) Rivers, Benson, N.C., and Robert Harding, St. Augustine, his grandson Carter Rivers, his sister Clare (Frank) Sanford, St. Louis, and his step-sister Patty (Word) Bizzell, Corsicana, Texas. He was much loved by his family, which includes his nieces, and nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, and his many friends.
