ObituaryDavid Andrew Williams, age 71, of LaBelle, passed away July 12, 2005 in Ft. Myers. He was born March 8, 1932 in Punta Gorda to John Thomas Williams and Pearlie Mae Bryant Williams. He was a veteran of the Marine Corp, serving during the Korean Conflict.Survivors include his children; Donna Squires, Mitzy Barkley, David Williams, Andrew Williams, Dena Bushman, Raymond Williams and John Williams, brother; Robert Williams; sisters; Mae Bush, Shirley Carling, Wanda Sarver and Hazel Meder, fifteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday, July 15, 2005, 10:00 AM at the Akin-Davis Funeral Home in LaBelle with Pastor Brian Gilley officiating. A graveside committal will follow at 2:00 PM at the Gardner Baptist Cemetery in Gardner. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-7 PM at the Akin-Davis Funeral Home in LaBelle.
