KENT, David Andrew - (Innisfil Fire and Rescue Service, Station 4, Cookstown #420) - Passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, at his home which he built and loved, surrounded by his family on Monday November 5th, 2007. David Kent of Cookstown in his 27th year. Treasured and loved son of Paul and Ellen Kent. Cherished brother and best friend of Lisa, Michael and Lisa's fiancé Scott Shaw. Dear grandson of Elsie Cole “Grammy“ and forever remembered and loved nephew of Nancy Cole “Nanny“, Ross and Frances Kent and Kathryn Kent. Dear cousin of Jennifer Kent and Lindsey Robinson. Forever loved by his devoted girlfriend Veronica Sloan. He was a friend and brother to all Cookstown Firefighters. He will be sadly missed by his community, many friends and family. David dealt with his illness the way he went through life with courage and determination. He touched the lives of countless people with his kindness, warmth, smile and sense of humour. His spirit will stay in our hearts forever.
