DAVID ALLEN PETERSEN II "DAVEY" EAST CHICAGO, IN David Allen Petersen II "Davey", age 36, of East Chicago, was born on April 11, 1975 and passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 21, 2012. He was formerly employed by an independent contractor. Davey is survived by his loving mother, Marlene Petersen. Preceded in death by his father, David Petersen, in 2000; and partner, Elizabeth Vidaurri, in 2009. He is also survived by his brother, Chris (Sandra) Petersen; sisters: Marcia (Eric) Petersen and Renee Petersen; uncle, Tommy; nephews: Devin, Jeremiah, Christian, and Eric; nieces: Sophia and Angelina; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be Friday, February 24, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN. Rev. Stephen Gibson will hold prayer services 5:00 p.m. Friday. Private burial to follow. Davey had a heart of gold and will be especially missed by his nephews and nieces who loved their "Uncle Davey" immensely. He was carefree, loving, and had a zest for life. He brought laughter and smiles to all who knew and loved him. He will be missed by many. Please omit flowers.
