BRYAN _ David Alan. On Wednesday, February 22, 2006, after a very courageous battle with cancer, David Alan Bryan passed away peacefully at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops. Al, as he preferred to be called, was born in Yorkshire, England and he never lost the pride of being a "Yorkshire" man. After a lengthy service in the British Military, Al and his first wife Marg, immigrated to Richmond, B.C. After many years employed at Weiser Lock in Burnaby, Al retired to Sorrento on the Shuswap Lake with his long time companion and soul mate Kathleen "Kay" Johnson. Al is survived by his loving children David, Barbara and Pauline and grandchildren Bryan, Jenny, and B.J. Numerous relatives and friends in both England and Canada will also sadly miss him. No funeral by request. Donations in lieu of flowers, to the Canadian Cancer Society.
