ADAMS David Edward- Born in Bangor, N. Ireland March 15, 1920, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2003, surrounded by the love of his family. Sadly missed by his loving wife of 58 years, Mary, his sons David (Marie-Reine), Barry (Mary), Ron (Margaret) and Pat (Sue), 11 grandchildren, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Dave was a newsman and over his career worked for British United Press, The Winnipeg Tribune, Edmonton Journal and CBC Television Edmonton. He retired to Sidney in 1980 and enjoyed many rounds of golf at Glen Meadows. Dave loved a party, and on that note, friends are invited to an open house at 854 Carrie St. in Esquimalt on Sunday, October 5thfrom 1 to 5 PM.
