Daryl Robert Pelkey August 22, 1950 - July 26, 2014 The passing of Daryl Robert Pelkey of Estey’s Bridge, NB, husband of Jan Pelkey occurred on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. He was born on August 22, 1950 in Perth-Andover, NB. He was the son of the late Robert and Leona (Williams) Pelkey. Daryl was a finish carpenter. He cherished his family and the newest addition his granddaughter Hannah. Daryl enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting. Loved time spent motorcycling and with his four legged companions, his 2 dogs. In addition to his wife, Daryl is survived by his son, Mitch Pelkey (Lyndsey) of Fredericton; daughters, Dara Pelkey-Field (Mike) of Truro, Michele Gamblin of Perth-Andover, NB; granddaughters, Hannah and Allyson; great granddaughter, Khloe; brother, David Pelkey (Christina) of Fredericton; sisters, Beverly O’Neil (Kevin) of California Settlement and Freda Mosley of Limestone, Maine. Although there will be no Visitation by request, a private family service will be held at a later date. For those who wish, donations of remembrance may be made to the SPCA. York Funeral Home 302 Brookside Dr. Fredericton, NB is entrusted with the arrangements. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
