CAMDEN - Darwin Lee Bronk, 69, passed away peacefully at home July 24, 2012. He was born in his home on Third Street Sept. 1, 1942 to Lyle "Roy" and Thelma Empey Bronk. On Feb. 23, 1963, he married the former Ann Delahunt, at St. John's Rectory, Camden. Together they had three children, Eric, Kimberly and Roy. Darwin was a lifelong resident of Camden who loved to travel the back country roads and beautiful trails of Forest Park. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, four-wheeling and snowmobiling. Darwin was also a very talented guitarist who spent many hours listening to and playing his favorite music. He was a devoted SU football and basketball fan and always looked forward to the fall season. Darwin was educated in the Camden school system and spent the majority of his career at Omega Wire in Williamstown where he retired in 1996.Darwin is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ann; his daughter, Kimberly Bronk of Cicero; his son, Roy and Lori Bronk of Camden; grandsons, Matthew and Nicholas Bronk and sisters Marsha Boyer and Melanie and Robert Cook, both of Camden. He was predeceased by his parents, his son Eric and nephews Sean Cook and Lexsee Nickson. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 27, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., Camden, with the Rev. Jeff Moore officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Camden. Calling hours will be at the funeral home, 109 Main St., from 4–7 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012.
