JEFFERSONVILLE -- Danny Lee Johnson, 47, passed away Monday, June 14, 2004, at University of Louisville Hospital. He was a hazardous materials driver for Service Transport in Louisville and a retired police officer for the Ocoee Police Department in Florida. He was stationed in Korea while in the Army and was also a veteran of the Air National Guard. He was preceded in death by his father, Harvey Johnson, and his daughter, Sarah Johnson. Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Johnson; his mother, Helen Lanham of Clarksville, IN; three stepchildren, Amber Welsh, Brittaney Welsh and Nicholas Welsh, all of Jeffersonville; two children, Matthew Johnson and Angela Johnson; two brothers, Harvey Johnson Jr. and Charles Johnson, both of Jeffersonville; and sister, Vondett Madison of Clarksville. His funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarksville, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville. Visitation will be from 1-7 p.m. Thursday.
