He is survived by his wife Kathleen of 54 years; his five children, Dan Jr. of Coco Beach, FL, Robert (Karen) of Nashville, Karen and Erik of Hendersonville, TN, Gary of Pattaya, Thailand; three grandchildren, Joey and Jenna of Nashville, and Hannah Fillmore of Hendersonville. Memorial services will be held at First United Methodist Church in Hendersonville, on Thursday, December 17, 2009. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. in the Sanctuary Lobby, followed by the service at 2 p.m. and reception in the Genesis Hall at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the First United Methodist Church for their Building Fund: 217 E. Main St., Hendersonville, TN 37075. Private internment will be in Daniel's hometown of Burkesville.
