EDGEFIELD, S.C. - Entered into rest Thursday, September 18, 2003, at University Hospital, Mr. Daniel Butler, 66, of Promise Land Road. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, September 23, 2003, at Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Rev. Edward Lloyd officiating. Mr. Butler was a native of Edgefield County and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Survivors include a loving and devoted companion of the home, Linda Stringfellow; one daughter, Jackie Curry, New Ellenton; two sons, Daniel (Kathy) Blocker, Augusta and Jimmy (Lisa) Johnson, Johnston; three sisters, Myrtis Moble, Johnston, Emma Lee Hamilton, Aiken and Sarah Rainsford, Ridge Spring; two brothers, Joe Butler, Ridge Spring and James Butler, Florida; two sisters-in-law, Annie Mae Butler, Edgefield and Georgia Mae Butler, Washington; two stepdaughters, Tori (Robert) Graham and Twanda Stringfield, Lawrenceville; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
