Daisy Lee Davis, 81, died June 24, 2009, in Vero Beach. She was born in Vero Beach and was a lifelong resident. Survivors include her son, David Ellison of Vero Beach; daughter, Margret Ann Jones of Vero Beach; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. services: Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. July 2 at Hortense/Mills Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A service will be at 11 a.m. July 3 at New Bethel AME Church in Vero Beach. Burial will follow in Gifford cemetery.
