DAVIS, Daisy Catherine (Kay) Sadly as the result of a motor vehicle accident in Jasper on Friday, September 7, 2007 with her daughter Susan her side. Kay Davis (nee Somerville) of Kemptville at the age of 85years. Wife of the late John James Davis. Loving mother of Gary Davis and Irene Murphy (Wally Herold) all of Kemptville and Jamie Davis (Ildiko Kiss) of White Rock, B.C. Adored grandma of Patrick Davis (Lisa), Gary Davis and Jaime Briggs (Jamie) and Sean Murphy (Samantha). Dear "GG" of Kayzie, Kareila and Dante Davis and Blaise and Storm Briggs. Sadly missed by her sister Ednah Hearsum (Norman) of Cargill. Predeceased by her parents James and Daisy, and by her brothers Alfred and David. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Grant Brown Funeral Home "Rolston Chapel", 805 Prescott Street, Kemptville (613-258-2435) on Tuesday September 11th from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, September 12th from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. Ceremony in celebration of Kay and Susan's lives will be held on Wednesday in the Chapel of the Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Kemptville Union Cemetery.
