<br/> <br/>DOROTHY LEOLA SMITH --> DOROTHY LEOLA SMITH, 94 LAKE WALES - Dorothy L. Smith, 94, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014, at Life Care Center in Winter Haven. She was born December 3, 1919, in Kissimmee, Florida to the late Adam and Lenora (Lamb) Yates. She has been a resident of the area since 1944, coming from Orlando, Florida and was the owner of Palms Restaurant in Lake Wales. She was a member of the Lake Wales Moose Lodge, enjoyed hunting and fishing and was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her husband Richard D. Smith. Survivors include her daughter, June Roberts and husband Truman of Lake Wales, FL; son, Everett 'Smitty' Smith of Lake Wales, FL; sister, Maxine Tanner of St. Cloud, FL; 2 grandchildren, Richard and Deanne; 5 great-grandchildren, Kyle, Derek, Zachery, Dillon, Austin; 1 great-great- grandchild, Kaiden. Those who wish may make donations to Lake Wales Moose Lodge Memorial fund at 3601 State Road 60 East, Lake Wales, Fl, 33898.
