Dorothy Jean Watson, 62, of White Plains, NY, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2007, in Michigan. She was born September 1, 1945 to Jethro and Rebecca (Warren) Short, and married Robert L. Watson, Sr. on August 18, 1973. She worked at Pitney Bowes and was a member and musician at Calvary Baptist Church. Dot really loved music, and especially cherished and loved her grandchildren. Predeceased by her father, surviving are her husband; daughter, Cherika (Vaughn) Johnson, of NY; son, Robert L. Watson, Jr., of Belleville, MI; mother, Rebecca Short, of Albion; sister, Joyce Short, of Albion; three brothers, Lorenzo and James Short, of Albion, and Waverly Short, Canton, MI; two grandchildren, Javaun and Jaden Johnson. Viewing will be Friday, October 5, 2007, 6-7 pm only, at Calvary Baptist Church, 188 Orawaupum St., White Plains, NY, immediately followed by Funeral at 7 pm Friday at church. Final Services and Burial Monday in Michigan.
