OWENS, Dorothy Causey, 76, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2006. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 12, 2006 at 11:30 a.m. at Leak Memory Chapel with Dr. Bill Johnston officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 11, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Leak Memory Chapel. Mrs. Owens was a member of the First Baptist Church of Alabaster and the Alabaster Senior Citizen's Group. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Owens, broth-er, Lewis Causey, sister, Gloria Sue Causey Stallard. She is survived by one daughter, Becky (Wendell) Hi-lyer; one son, Bubba (Anita) Owens; brothers, Tommy (Sally) Causey , James (Birdle) Causey; sis-ters, Bobbie Adair, Frances Shu-man; grandchildren, Chuck (Kay) Hilyer , Lisa Hilyer, Taylor Owens, Molly Owens, Eric Childers; great-grandchildren, Jennifer (Stephen) Kelly , Wade Nelson, Ralph Godwin; great-great grandchildren, Caleb, Kaylynn, James, Colby, and a host of nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Allen Cook, By-ron Smith, Barry Adair, Bob Adair, Jones Durbin, Charles Causey, and Eddie Smith.
