HANCOCK - Doris R. Johnson, 84, died June 26, 2011, at Pheasantwood Nursing Home in Peterborough. She was born in Peterborough, to Marguerite Hart and Lester M. Johnson, and was a lifelong resident of Hancock. She graduated from Hancock High School. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening and flowers. She was a housekeeper for the Peabody Farm and also for the Daloz family of Hancock. Family includes a sister, Marguerite Bourgoine of West Peterborough; two brothers, Arthur R. Johnson of Lynn, Mass. and Frank Johnson of Hillsborough; many nieces and nephews. . IN HER LIFE: She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Avery; and four brothers, Donald Johnson, Charles Johnson, Myron Johnson and Walter Johnson. . SERVICES: A graveside service and burial are Thursday at 11 a.m. in Hillside Cemetery. The Rev. Judith Copeland, pastor of First Congregational Church, will officiate.
